Kwani is working on a new single called 'Tsa tsa ra tsa' thats going to be in the our new album featuring Bafana Nhlapo (Amazing vocalist) as the lead vocalist. Its a funky house track thats been driving audiences wild in Europe. Keep your eyes and ears glued to this blog for this head banging joint that wiil be ready by the end of the month.

New Kwani Experience

After months of touring, performing, meeting people, getting home sick and whatever else I get up to, its time once again to hit the drawing board. This time its Kwani and with a new offering. We have had a lot of feedback from people all over the world and we've decided to take your advice. Its time to go crazy. Dance, House, Dance Hall. Drum & Bass, Hip hop, Reggae, Soul, Afro soul and all of them combined. We're shaping our sound into a powerful, headbanging yet delightful experience for all our past, present and future friends. I'm working on the pre-production at WirelessHeadz Productions which is my studio. Small space but amazing sound. Will keep you posted. I'll record the whole process on camera. The music, jokes ,fights, drooling when the guys are sleeping.Everything!!!!

NOT JUST A DRUMMER

Most people think that the only thing that drummers can do is count, 1..2..3..4 and bang the hell out of a drum kit. Ok...We do, but there's more, a whole lot more. We are the time and rhythm keepers. We make sure you jump up and down all night, "break your neck", never stop moving, then come back next week and do it all over again but we are never recognised.
We are the Visibly Invisible.

My name is Monde. I am the drummer for the band known as Kwani Experience, I am a composer, producer and the ambassador for Mini pod speakers.

Check out "Music with name vol.4". It's a remix album and the 4th offering of its kind from the M.E.L.T 2000 label. It features some of South Africa’s greatest traditional musicians like Busi Mhlongo, Madosini, Madala Kunene and the amazing new vocalist Bafana Nhlapo from my band to name a few. It boasts a variety of genres like Dance hall, Drum & bass and house music.

For the first time ever, the project has been produced in South Africa by a young South African producer and composer being myself. The past 3 volumes were produced in the US and Europe by acclaimed artists, but me being given the opportunity of producing a project like this, is truly a blessing.
It took 9 months and 11 days of working hard and smart, many bottles of "liquid" and the love for music to create this offering. Which I can proudly say is "My Baby".
